Regional
Technical Assistance Workshops (RTAWs) are interactive regional
trainings where Neighborhood Networks stakeholders network with
each other and learn strategies for maintaining sustainable centers
and promoting resident self-sufficiency.
In
2009, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
will host two RTAWs to observe this year's theme, "Neighborhood
Networks: A Community Asset." Each RTAW will feature more than 20
workshops, designed to meet the needs of center staff, property
managers, and other stakeholders. Workshops will include content
appropriate for those who are new to Neighborhood Networks, as well
as more advanced workshops for Neighborhood Networks veterans and
those who have attended a previous Neighborhood Networks RTAW or
National Training Conference. Attendees will have the opportunity
to learn about resources for their center and to network with other
centers to find out about best practices.
The
2009 RTAWs will be held in:
|
Dallas, Texas at The Fairmont Hotel
April 29-May 1, 2009 (A two-day pre-RTAW grantwriting session
will begin on Monday, April 27, 2009.)
|
|
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at The Ritz Carlton
Hotel
July 15-17, 2009 (A two-day pre-RTAW grantwriting session
will begin on Monday, July 13, 2009.) |
A
printed brochure will be mailed to all Neighborhood Networks centers.
We
hope you will join us for the 2009 Neighborhood Networks RTAWs!
