Financial Data Schedule (FDS) Submission and Navigation Tips For the September 2009 System Release

- -
 Information by State
 Print version

The Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) is planning a system release on Monday, September 14, 2009. As a result, Secure Systems will not be available during the prior weekend (from Friday, September 11, beginning at 8:00 pm (EST) through Monday, September 14, ending at 7:00 am). The system release will provide PHAs the functionality to once again input their annual financial data directly into the Financial Assessment System (FASS) on-line system in lieu of using the Excel Financial Data Schedule (FDS) Tool. Please note that once the system release occurs, all subsequent submissions must be performed using direct FDS input into the FASS on-line system. REAC will no longer support the FDS Excel tool. The information links below provide instructions and guidance in creating unaudited or audited financial submissions under the FASS.

  • User's Manual: The User's manual provides detailed information to facilitate the electronic submission of the FDS and the Data Collection Forms (DCF) under FASS. The detailed information contains instructions to guide the user in accessing the system, creating a financial submission, electronically submitting financial data to HUD, deleting draft financial submissions and correcting rejecting issues

  • Sequence Map and Submission Guide: The Sequence Map and the Submission Guide provides an illustrative overview of the component functionality of the FASS submission. It provides a quick reference to the submission process.
